My experience with cancer is both as a survivor and a carer.

I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2000 at the age of 30. In many ways I was lucky, the only treatment needed was  a few surgeries, leaving me unable to have children but healthy and cancer free!

Last year my father-in-law  became very ill with cancer.  We brought him home and looked after him in his last weeks.

I relay to raise awareness,  celebrate life and remember those who didn't make it.
