Border Relay For Life’s organising Committee has pooled its resources to create a new promotional film encouraging participation in their upcoming October event.
Over the past 12 years Border Relay has raised $2.25 million for Cancer Council NSW, making it the second largest Relay in the state.
In 2013 the event raised $460,000 and attracted 3500 participants, and the Committee are hoping to make this year’s event even bigger. Chairman Carl Friedlieb said 63 teams had already registered 13 more than this time last year.
The film the Border Relay Committee creates a new one each year has become a valuable promotional tool, and a unique way to share their Relay experience with the community.
